Several years ago, I had raised some wildflowers and found many to be photogenic, so I was compelled to try my hand at macro photography, and thus began a totally unexpected passion. As a result I have grown almost all of the flowers in this gallery with the added benefit of the enjoyment of gardening. For those interested, I use a 105mm macro lens for all of my flower images, make scans from the transparencies and prepare them for printing in Adobe Photoshop. The newer digital camera files are worked directly in Adobe Photoshop and printed. The 20x30 inch prints produced from those files are of excellent quality. They are printed by a fine professional lab on color photo paper and are truly spectacular.
Gallery Wrap canvas prints have shown these flowers in spectacular fashion.
